X Commercial Opens 11th Office, Strengthening National Presence
X Commercial has announced the opening of its 11th office, marking another major milestone in what has become the fastest growing independent commercial real estate agency network in Australia and New Zealand.
The new office strengthens X Commercial’s footprint and reinforces its rapid expansion across key commercial markets. Growth has been driven by a clear vision, strong leadership and a specialist commercial model that continues to attract high performing agents seeking an alternative to traditional franchise structures.
The latest expansion sees John Georgiou and his highly regarded team, formerly operating and the most successful commercial office and principal in the NAI Harcourts network, joining X Commercial. The move reflects a broader industry shift, with experienced commercial operators increasingly stepping away from large corporate brands in favour of agile, specialist agencies built around performance, collaboration and client outcomes.
John and his team will join X Commercial’s two established Victorian offices in Western Melbourne, led by Andrew Macqueen, Stuart Macqueen and Cameron Hunter, alongside one of the group’s newest offices in the Melbourne CBD led by Allison Brudenell. Together, the three Victorian offices now provide comprehensive coverage across Melbourne’s key metropolitan and regional commercial markets.
Daniel O’Brien, CEO of X Commercial, said the addition of John and his team was a significant step in the group’s Victorian strategy.
“John and his team are a perfect fit for X Commercial and for our growing Victorian network,” O’Brien said. “They bring strong market credibility, deep relationships and a values driven approach that aligns seamlessly with our culture. Their decision to join us is a clear endorsement of the platform we are building across Australia.”
Andrew Macqueen said the expansion reflects a long term focus on depth rather than scale alone.
“From the outset, our focus has been on building genuine strength across Victoria, not just adding offices for the sake of it,” Mr Macqueen said. “Having John and his team come on board enhances our ability to service clients right across Melbourne with local expertise supported by a national platform.”
Allison Brudenell said collaboration across the Victorian offices was a key differentiator.
“What’s unique about X Commercial is the collaborative approach,” Mrs Brudenell said. “Each office brings strong local knowledge, but we operate as one connected team. That level of alignment is incredibly powerful for clients operating across multiple markets.”
For John, the move was a strategic one.
“After years within a large network, it became clear that the future lies with specialist commercial agencies built by commercial agents, for commercial agents,” he said. “X Commercial offers the brand strength, support and national reach we need, without the limitations that often come with larger franchises. Being part of a unified Victorian platform was a major drawcard.”
With 11 offices now operating across Australia and New Zealand, with further expansion already underway, X Commercial shows no signs of slowing down.
